E-Commerce Transaction Process

FloCash payment gateway FGW provides interfaces to financial institutions and merchant systems for automatic processing of payments and settlement of funds.

FGW accepts authorization requests from the web, mobile devices, point of sale POS, ATM and job dispatch, and routes the transaction record to relevant financial institute and returns response back to the merchant.

FloCash complies with international banking and payment industry security standards, including PCI DSS ‘Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards’ with payment information stored securely within FloCash’ Data Vault.

Card Transaction Step by step guide

Step by step explanation:

  1. Customer ‘Buyer’ is ready to make a purchase at merchant web site
  2. Customer selects FloCash as payment option
  3. Customer browses through the FloCash website to complete necessary personal information
  4. Customer confirms payment
  5. If enough funds are available in customers wallet, FloCash transmits the transaction authorization request to merchant via an agreed connection.
  6. Merchant sends back the response ‘authorization code’ to FloCash indicating approval or decline of transaction.
  7. Merchant fulfils order and sends a receipt to customer.
  8. FloCash credits merchant through bank settlement account.

Mobile Transaction Step by step guide

Step by step explanation:

  1. Buyer is ready to make a purchase at merchant web site
  2. Customer selects FloCash as payment option
  3. Customer browses through the FloCash website to complete necessary personal information
  4. If customer does not have funds in FloCash wallet, then customer is presented with reference to pay via mobile money providers (Airtel, MTN, Orange, M Pesa).
  5. Customer selects FloCash in mobile money menu and makes payment
  6. FloCash transmits the transaction authorization request to merchant via an agreed connection.
  7. Merchant sends back the response ‘authorization code’ to FloCash indicating approval or decline of transaction.
  8. Merchant fulfils order and sends a receipt to customer.
  9. FloCash credits merchant through bank settlement account.
